PAYMENT & COLLECTION PROCESS
Request your order form by emailing the relevant address on our contact us page.
We do not accept SMS’s and/ or bank statements. House of Graduates account number must be reflected on your payment confirmation. We do not accept SMS’s and bank statements. We are not permitted to view your payment confirmation on your phone or tablet i.e. we require a hard copy.
COURIER WITHIN SA
A fee is charged for postage within South Africa.
All documents must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. a minimum of 14 days before your graduation ceremony. We require:
- Completed “order form”
- Your original proof of payment
- Copy of your ID
Once we receive your documents you will receive an acknowledgment email. When the attire is dispatched you will receive a 2nd email with the parcels tracking details and estimated date of arrival.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET MY PAYMENT CONFIRMATION WHEN COLLECTING MY GRADUATION ATTIRE?
You will be requested to pay again. Please email your original payment confirmation and the newly issued receipt to email@example.com. An administration fee of R30 will be deducted. Refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving the correct documents.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I OVER-PAY VIA ATM DEPOSIT/ EFT?
An administration fee of R40 will be deducted. Overpayments in excess of R40 will be refunded within 7 working days of receiving the correct documents.
Please email the receipt you receive from us to firstname.lastname@example.org. This receipt must reflect the total amount you paid via ATM deposit/ EFT and the refund amount.
AM I REFUNDED IF I DO NOT ATTEND THE GRADUATION CEREMONY?
If you are unable to attend your graduation ceremony House of Graduates requires written confirmation from your university/college confirming your non – attendance. Please email the confirmation to email@example.com. A R50 cancellation fee applies.
GRADUANDS RESIDING OUTSIDE SOUTH AFRICA
Graduands residing outside of RSA are required to make payment on collection i.e. No advance payment must be made. If you are purchasing and require postage please email firstname.lastname@example.org. for a quotation.
CLAIMING YOUR REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
When hiring R300 in cash is required as a security deposit. The deposit will be refunded when the attire is returned in its original condition with the relevant receipt. If the attire is stained and/ or damaged the hirer is liable to pay House of Graduates the full purchase price on demand.
The deposit will be forfeited under the following conditions:
- You are unable to produce your original receipt.
- The attire has been stained and/ or damaged.
- The attire was returned however the deposit was not claimed within 3 working days.
A late return charge of R100 per day is charged if the attire is not returned immediately after the ceremony.
GRADUATIONS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19
If your graduation was cancelled due to COVID-19 you have 14 working days, from date of cancellation, to claim a refund.
